This Axis network camera went online in November 10 2000. It runs the Linux operating system and includes the Boa webserver. A regular linux box "ncd3" grabs pictures every minute and every half an hour. See some archived older pictures. The snapshots above are JPG frames, animated with Javascript. A 60-frame hourly gifmovie is built every 5 minutes. It can be downloaded here [3 Megabytes GIF].
